The Electrical Engineering is a technology of more than a century of age. Although this, nowadays it is experiencing a lot of changes, basically with the introduction of Electronic and Computer Science in all of the traditional areas of the Electrical Engineering technology.

The Electrical Engineering doctorate program aims to help to create Electrical Engineers who can accept these challenges with all the tools and acknowledge required for succeeding in such a job.

The doctorate program offers postgraduate training addressed to graduates in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, with the objective of training these engineers in the tasks of research, development, modeling and simulation of electromechanical devices, systems and processes. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the doctorate program, a wide variety of contents are offered which afford a complete vision of all of the technologies applied, which comprise both the analysis and design of complex electromechanical systems (such as control drives, devices and systems) and the modeling and simulation of these systems, on the basis of electrical and electronic systems.
